what's wrong with these people?

I must say that I've had a pretty bad week.
Between my job and hubby's, I feel 10 years older! You shouldn't hate your job. I know not everyone can love it, but you should be able to find some enjoyment out of it. That isn't so with my job. I truly believe there is evil living inside the building and it has found it's way inside of some of the employees. It's like a cross between "Enemy of the State" and "Night of the Living Dead". You can trust no one and everyone is out to get you. There has to be another way to make a living.

Also, I miss my family and friends. We live 250 miles away. I didn't think it would bother me as much, but after 5 years of living so far away from everyone that you know, it would be nice to visit with my grandmother (Happy Birthday Gigi! She's 93!) and grandpa without feeling like we had to rush. Or call my best friend and have a cuppa coffee and chat. I would love to open a shop back home but I'm so chicken!! There are so many what if's. I've got to do something. Work is killing me!!!

Say something good

I was going to start with saying how evil my workplace is but I realize that I didn't want this blog to be about gripping, so I will think of something positive. Now lets see.. Hubby returned safely from his business trip. He picked the little one up from daycare and both of them came to work to visit with me. Nice ;o) Since hubby is home today, I made a big dinner of Country fried pork chops, corny muffins and homemade french fries (yeah, no greens,oops). Now everyone has gone to sleep and I'm left listening to the basball game on tv. Think I'm gonna go read my book (The Notebook-Nicholas Sparks). Counting down the hours until Saturday, we are going to the Fair!

I DID IT!!

Well, I finally created myself a blog!! yippee!! Hubby leaves town for one night and I turn into a Wild Wo-man. Yeah, the wildness has been set loose :o) Now, what to chat about?? Hummmm....Maybe I'll think of something tomorrow.
