*WELCOME 2006*

Well, now that it 2 days into '06,
I wish everyone a "Happy New Year"!!!.

And where have I been for the last month? Humm... well, working almost 40 hours a week, keeping up with an almost 3 year old DS, staying on top of laundry, grocery, bills, and finishing Christmas shopping, making a cross-stitch sampler for my niece, who by the way, was born on my birthday, 12-12-05 (Happy Birthday Alyssa), making an 8X8 album for my grandparents, taking care of 3 dogs, and having dinner ready, well, I can't imagine why I haven't updated my blog. But I have been reading others and kudos to ya'll, keep up the good work. BTW, if this entry is a little goofy, I just finished off the bottle of Asti all by myself(even drank straight from the bottle-HA), DH isn't home yet :0)

I did sign up for a challenge from 2peas for the Designing With 2006 calendar. I bought my calendar today while I was at the LSS, which, bTW brings me to a funny story.
The LSS was hosting a Demo-O-Rama on NYD from 12-6pm. I had already asked a friend to watch Dane for a couple of hours so I could go(we don't have a regular babysitter). For some f-ing reason, my brain thought this event was on Monday, why, I don't know. I have no excuse. NYD was SUNDAY-not MONDAY. What a way to start the new year! But, good news. I did get a lo finished today, I'm happy. I haven't posted a lo on 2peas yet, so maybe I can figure that out sometime this week. I'm excited about the DW challenge, I'm hoping to use the 4 lo each month to get an album done for my parents for Mother's/Father's day.
