These are some lovely postcards I ordered off ebay. There is a story about the kiss for Charlie & I, so I try to collect "kisses" whenever I can. And to make it even better, after I received them, I noticed on the back that they were made in Italy!! As for the 1913, as soon as I saw this card, I had to purchase it. My grandmother, Gigi (pronunced gege) was born in 1913! It is postmarked on the back 1912, written in French, but I believe it is wishing a Happy New Year for 1913! I'm going to make a card for her using this scene.

Have you ever seen one of these? It's a velvet ant aka Cow Killer. And get this, it's not really on ant. It's a wingless wasp. Not the thing you want to step on with bare feet.
