Creativity Abounds

I've finally finish it, The Da Vinci Code. Very interesting book. There is alot of things that could be discussed bout this book, I'll just say that it gave me some things to ponder upon. The one thing that really gave me goose bumps was the part about hiding clues to discover a birthday present. My father did that for me one year at Christmas. It was a blast. In the end, the present was my brand new Atari game!! Boy, did I love that game!
I discovered some new mags this past week. My heart jumps a bit when I see new mags. I love the Junk Market girls. I've been a follower of theirs for quite awhile.
I wanted to share something from the Legacy mag. From the Editor-As the artist show here, memory doesn't have to be staid, stale,dusty heirloom pieces. Every day is part of your and your family's growing heritage. So why not make it beautiful, interesting, fresh and fun?
I really love this whole concept. In the last couple of weeks, I've really been looking at art and things that I truly like versus what's popular right now. There are some really talented people in the sbing world, but I only see a few different styles. There are the nice, clean ones with straight lines, then there are the ones that really add in alot of form and texture. And then there are the ones that really push the limit. The true mixed-media artist. And that is what I love. If you really think about it, back when I was in middle school, I bought a little frame and took all kinds of pictures of my friends, cut them up into a collage. It's that what sbing is all about? Does that mean that I've been sbing for 20+ yrs? Wow, that kinda makes me feel good :0)
