Oh, the irony of it all !!!!

Okay, let me recap for you. Last Thursday, I was getting ready to leave for the wkend. We were going to Mobile to see family and have a little mini vac. Also, I was taking my MIL to a garden tour for Mother's Day. To sum it all up, we had a great time (I have tons of pics to share), we stayed at the condo on Dauphin Island all weekend. The Garden tour was great. Everything was great. Dane was staying the week with family, so Charlie & I would have a week to ourselves, even though he had to work. Still, I was really looking forward to some major scraping time, going to the lss, getting some other projects finished AND some romantic time w/ DH :0)
Now here is the punch line...I have been sick as a dog!!!! coughing. and coughing.and coughing. Nightime is the worst. To the point, my voice is gone, my abs feel like I've done 1,000 sit ups, I'm tired because I can't sleep good.
Why? Why is it that you always get sick at the worst possible time. We're going to get Dane tomorrow ( I do miss my little man :0), and I have gotten some major cleaning done ( you can almost move around in the scrap room) but I've had no inspiration.
But today I'm going to do something. I haven't even been on blogger or 2peas (gone for a week and the whole format has changed!). I'm going to visit all my blogging friends & get some inspiration. Pull out all my books, get the creative juices flowing and make some layouts.

Before we left last wkend, I signed up for a ATC swap. Need to work on that. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I've never even made an ATC, but I've admired them and drooled over them on the meaasge boards and in mags. Now, I just need to see if I can make one myself.
Just so you'll know that this week wasn't a total loss, DH & I did get to see a movie. We went to see The Da Vinci Code. Loved it. Kept up with the book real well. Of course, I took some Hall's cough drops w/ me! We shared a popcorn & coke. Then afterwards, we stopped at Sonic for ice cream. I love their coconut cream pie shakes. Yummy!
