Sorry Momma

Yes, I cried. I know, it's just a bowl, a very "old" bowl ( I bought it at a church yard sale for .25 almost 15 years ago), I really only used it for popcorn. We watch alot of movies, and part of that ritual is popcorn. Well, Dane has started eating the leftover kernels. I didn't know he had the bowl. I guess it just slipped from his hands onto the floor.
Immediately, he started say"Sorry, Momma, sorry". I could be mad, but I did cry. I loved that bowl!
So, I guess that means I'll be on the hunt for a new popcorn bowl. Something cool.

I don't have the heart to get rid of the pieces. The recycler/junker in me says that something mosaic can be made out of. Even though I've never done anything mosaic!! I'll think of something. I do have in the back of my mind to one day make a birdbath using broken pieces of pottery. Another thing to add to my PUC list ( project under construction). Man, is that list getting long :0)

SOUP OF THE DAY:
Romance fails us and so do friendships but the relationship of Mother and child remains indelible and indestructible-the strongest bond upon this earth.

DESSERT OF THE DAY:
No matter how old a mother is, she watches her middle-aged children for signs of improvement.

I am so sad for you. What a special bowl. I have a few things that I love and would be sad if they were broken.

I would make a project out of it as well.

have a great day
